Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the public informational website at esimg.digital. esimg is not a telecom operator, mobile carrier or eSIM provider. We do not offer customer accounts, plan activation, payment processing, a checkout or an account dashboard. The site is intended to explain digital eSIM concepts and connected-travel preparation.

Our editorial contact address is [email protected]. Questions about a subscription, activation code, carrier lock or live service problem should go to the party that supplies the relevant service or device. The about page explains our independence and publishing boundary.

Cookies and local browser storage

esimg sets no first-party tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to build advertising audiences, follow visitors across websites or recognise a reader for behavioural profiling. We do not operate user accounts, so there is no sign-in cookie.

The site may use your browser’s localStorage solely to remember a light or dark appearance preference after you select the theme toggle. This preference stays in your browser and is not sent to us by the page. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls or by clearing local storage. The appearance choice is not used to identify you or analyse your reading behaviour.

We do not run our own analytics service on this site. A hosting provider may necessarily process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information and access time, to deliver and secure a web request under its own operational arrangements. That infrastructure-level processing is distinct from a first-party analytics programme and may be subject to the host’s policies.

Contact form and email handling

The form on our contact page is not a server-side submission form. When you choose its button, JavaScript prepares a mailto link and asks your own email application or configured webmail handler to compose a message. No form data is transmitted to or stored by this site. The page states this beside the form button.

If you decide to send the resulting email, the message is handled by your email provider and the recipient mailbox. We may receive the information you place in that email, including your email address and any factual correction or question. Please do not send passwords, activation QR codes, account credentials, identity documents, payment information or unnecessary sensitive personal data. We do not need those details to consider an editorial matter.

Emails are used to read, respond to or assess editorial correspondence, and may be retained for a reasonable period where needed to handle the correspondence, maintain an editorial record or meet legal obligations. We do not sell contact information. We do not use it to create marketing profiles or send a newsletter from this site.

Third-party requests and embedded resources

To render the visual design, the pages request Tailwind CSS from its CDN and the Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans font files from Google Fonts. The photographs displayed on the site are loaded from Unsplash’s image delivery domain. When your browser loads those external resources, the relevant third party may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser characteristics and the requested resource. Those services operate under their own policies and may process information outside your country.

We use those services to provide the page’s styling, typography and editorial photography; they are not used by us as a substitute for advertising tracking. You can reduce third-party requests with browser settings, content controls or by using a browser that limits external resources, although doing so may change the page appearance or prevent photographs from loading.

Links to other websites are provided for contextual reading only. Their privacy practices are not controlled by esimg. Review the policy of any external site before providing it with personal information.

European privacy rights

If European data-protection law applies to information we hold about you through an email exchange, you may have rights to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing or portability where applicable. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant supervisory authority. Rights can depend on the circumstances and on legal obligations that require limited retention.

To make a privacy request, write to [email protected] and describe the request clearly. We may need limited information to confirm that the request relates to the correct email correspondence. We will not ask for unrelated account credentials because this site does not operate accounts.

Our lawful basis for reading and responding to an editorial email is generally our legitimate interest in operating and improving an independent informational resource, and where relevant steps requested by the sender. If consent is the appropriate basis for a specific optional communication, it will be requested clearly rather than inferred from browsing.

Changes, questions and scope

We may update this policy when the site’s practices, technical services or legal context changes. The date at the top identifies the most recent version. A change will not turn a past contact into permission for unrelated marketing. Check this page if you need the current wording before using the contact route.

This policy describes esimg’s website practices. It does not describe a mobile operator’s, eSIM provider’s, device manufacturer’s, hosting company’s, email provider’s, Google’s, Tailwind’s or Unsplash’s complete practices. Their services may have separate terms and privacy notices. For general eSIM information, return to the main guide or the frequently asked questions.
